I WON!!! Woooo-hooooo......

I just heard! I won the Jewelry Club's contest "Nature Inspired" with my submission "In a Single Drop of Water". [link]

I am very very proud and oh so happy. This is the first real contest that I've ever entered - you know, with prizes and judges and all - and then I win it! I'm flying high! :D

Thank you to all the judges and thank you very very much to Irene - a.k.a. Sandy515 - for that lovely macro shot of a drop of water on a young fern leave, that triggered my Muse so much. I love it.

It all started with a bling-bling ring I saw in my head, but couldn't find in any store. It drove me nutty, so I finally decided to make it myself. So off I went to the craft store to buy myself some suitable supplies. I found craft wire ... and beads... and I was hooked. Here we are a few years later and I am devoted to wire wrapping and gemstones.

I live in the south of Sweden with my husband, teenage son, daughter, two furry cats and a big house (that apparently didn’t come with a house keeper, who knew?) and as I also have a full time day job, my days are pretty hectic.
